When I was just 9 years old, I discovered my love for music. It all began when I would listen to all sorts of music with his grandma. She introduced me to a variety of genres, from classic rock to jazz to country. I was amazed by how different each style of music could make him feel.
During the summers, I would spend time in Ukiah with My uncle. It was during these visits that I discovered my passion for old music. My uncle introduced me to the classics, and I couldn't get enough. My love for music only grew stronger, and I knew that I wanted to share it with others.
Tragically, my uncle passed away on November 15, 2022. May he rest in peace. But his legacy lived .
With the help of my family and friends, I began to learn the ropes of radio broadcasting. I would spent countless hours researching the equipment I needed, practicing my delivery, and curating my playlist. I knew that I wanted to create a show that would bring joy to my listeners, just like the music had brought joy to me.
Now, I am making waves in the radio industry. I am streamed on multiple stations under the name "Ventura" on my show, "VMS Radio." I plays a wide variety of music, from the classics to the latest hits, and I always have a smile on my face when I am on the air. My listeners love tuning in to hear my upbeat personality and my great music picks.
My journey as a young radio DJ is just beginning, but I already knows that I have found my passion in life. I am grateful for the inspiration I received from my grandma and my uncle, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter their age is.
